Jet Aire provide continued support to Syngenta
Jet Aire has been providing Syngenta of Huddersfield, through their appointed facilities management provider, Galliford Try Limited, with continued drainage support over the past two years.
After an initial conversation in 2013 to discuss some of their regular and frequent drainage issues at the plant, Jet Aire has since gone on to complete a number of projects at the site, improving the whole drainage network.
Initially conducting a CCTV survey to help diagnose the issues at the site, we recommended a series of procedures to help prevent drainage issues occurring again. As the site produces a number of chemical compounds, there were stringent site procedures that had to be followed including the lining and patching team using full breathing apparatus on site.
Jet Aire’s thorough approach and recommendations for the repair work delighted the client and these were actioned with the works being completed with minimal disruption.
Jet Aire were then asked to replace fractures and cracking in the pipes for Lubrizol, a chemical company with chemicals in soaps and shampoos, who are also based on the Syngenta site.
Now, Jet Aire are in the process of using more CCTV camera equipment to uncover other issues within drainage pipes in other zones of the plant. Again using special breathing equipment, Jet Aire engineers will be putting forward a plan to eradicate any other drainage problems and bring the whole site up to higher drainage standards.
