Jet Aire is able to offer a comprehensive commercial Ultracoating service across the whole of the UK from our base in Leeds.
As an Ultracoat applicator, Jet Aire is able to offer a higher level of drain and manhole coating services to our clients, using this unique, high quality coating system.
The Ultracoat system, a structural epoxy coating application, can be used on a wide range of substrates, providing rehabilitation and structural reinforcement. It is commonly used in the food & drink sector because of its high resistance to the effluent that travels across it and because it has a wide range of chemical resistance. Designed by Danny Warren, the system has had zero failures in the last 35 years.
What is Ultracoat?
Ultracoat is a structural epoxy coating system which is used for the rehabilitation and structural reinforcement of a number of different substrates.
It can be used for manhole repairs, tunnel maintenance, culverts, bunds and any other surface that needs to be coated. Adding Ultracoat can structurally reinforce corroded structures and weakened substrates making them fit for purpose again.
There are only a few licensed applicators of the Ultracoat product in the UK, meaning only a handful of drainage contractors can offer this high quality product.
As a licenced applicator member of the Jet Aire team had to complete a two-day course which covered a diverse range of different topics and practical tests to ensure high quality application when out on site. Only those who have passed the course are licensed to use the Ultracoat coating product. This helps to ensure high quality throughout the whole process and limit any errors during application.
The course taught our team information on the hazards associated when working with this product, how to safely use it and carry out risk assessments appropriately, a guide on all the equipment and how it is to be used and much more. A comprehensive test was then passed by our whole team.
If you would like to know more about our Ultracoat system, or require a project to be completed using Ultraocat and are based in the UK, please do not hesitate to contact one of our team.
