Business events show the value of shared knowledge

Jet Aire Services work with a huge range of clients, Principal Contractors, contractors, suppliers and associates. We have built a great deal of success with those relationships and we know that businesses thrive through collaboration and collective endeavour. It’s one of the reasons why Jet Aire became a member of a like-minded organisation, the North East England Chamber of Commerce. Having joined at the start of the year, we have since embraced the opportunities that membership brings, including access to a community of 3,000 businesses and a wide range of networking events. It has already helped Jet Aire to develop further growth in the North East region, where we provide a comprehensive range of drainage and civil engineering services.

Jet Aire have attended a number of events in recent weeks, including the Chamber Local in Durham and the organisation’s monthly flagship event, Chamber Exchange, held in the grand setting of Crathorne Hall Hotel in Yarm. We had plenty of engaging discussions with decision makers in our core sectors, including highways, construction, facilities management, chemical and energy. We also gained some insight from new contacts in other sectors and our experience at each event has demonstrated the value of sharing knowledge, ideas and experience.

A thirst for knowledge is a useful attribute in any organisation and we also welcome opportunities to enhance our expertise at other business events, including a recent bid writing masterclass from NEPO at Middlesbrough FC’s Riverside Stadium. The session offered some valuable observations on the art of procurement.

The next Chamber event we’re attending is the Chamber Local, taking place next Tuesday at Commerce House in Middlesbrough, followed by the Chamber Exchange at Newcastle Eagles Basketball Community Arena on 11 April. If you’re planning to attend one of these events, we hope to see you there!
