One of the most satisfying aspects of Jet Aire’s work is the feedback we get from customers thanking us for a job well done. The pandemic has been a challenging time for everyone, not least for the elderly in our society, and last week we read a letter from a 93-year-old gentleman who suffered a stressful situation during lockdown. Jet Aire were called upon to address an escalating drainage problem at his home in Redcar, and thankfully we were able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently to avoid any lasting damage.
Mr Telfer wrote to pass on his gratitude for one of Jet Aire’s engineers, Jack Doherty, who provided emergency maintenance as part of our service as a drainage contractor for Northumbrian Water. We were equally grateful for Mr Telfer’s kind words, which were sent to Northumbrian Water and passed on to Jet Aire:
“I should like to put on record my appreciation of the efficient, friendly and considerate way my reporting yesterday of a blocked sewage pipe in our adjacent neighbour’s garden was acted on. The blockage caused my four sewage manholes to fill up with sewage effluent, thereby causing myself and my wife considerable distress. I am 93 and my wife 89.
The lady who took my call was most thorough, knowledgeable and supportive and arranged for a contractor to attend the properties in question within four hours, reflecting the urgency of the situation.
Jack, the young man from your contractor Jet Aire, in turn, was very helpful, professional and efficient and kept us fully informed of his actions to successfully remove the blockage. I would be grateful therefore, if you would inform Jet Aire how well Jack carried out his responsibilities and how those involved very much appreciated his customer-friendly and professional approach.”
We would like to thank Mr Telfer for taking the time to write to Northumbrian Water and express his appreciation. Well done to Jack for another excellent job!
