Jet Aire Services have established a tradition of giving a name to each of the trucks that carry out drainage and civil engineering work as part of our ever-expanding service fleet. Our trusty team of wheeled workers includes Bertie, Pooh, Victor, Buzz and Woody, all based at our North East site. Our Leeds site is home to Harry, Clyde, Gertie, Razor, Apollo and Ronnie. If you see one of them on the road, identification is fairly easy as its name will be featured on the livery. The tradition continued this week when Jet Aire’s latest fleet addition, a JHL FlexLine 414 recycler, was named after Rod Robb, Operations Manager at Carnell Group.
Carnell Group is one of Jet Aire’s most valued clients and we invited Rod to visit our head office to see the new vehicle named in his honour. Jet Aire Director, Keith Ferris, gave Mr Robb some celebratory champagne to mark the occasion and the other Rod has now hit the road as a new member of the Leeds-based fleet.
Rod is one of only five FlexLine 414 recycler units in the UK and one of just two based in the North – the other one being Apollo! Jet Aire will be adding another four FlexLine 414 recyclers to the fleet later this year as part of our ongoing expansion. Renowned for its eco-friendly performance, the Danish-manufactured FlexLine 414 uses recycling technology to cleanse and re-use water for jetting on site. The system is ideal for de-silting, large diameter pipe cleaning and many of the most challenging industrial cleaning and waste removal tasks.
