Shaun moves to head office with new CCTV survey role

Jet Aire are pleased to welcome a familiar face to our head office operation in Leeds following the promotion of Shaun Mills to Survey Processor.

Shaun joined Jet Aire five years ago as a drainage engineer and he has worked on a wide range of drainage services, including some of our largest planned maintenance contracts. During five years working out in the field, Shaun has become a well-trained and highly-skilled CCTV operative overseeing our CCTV condition surveys at sites across the region.

Having gained an excellent understanding of the on-site operation of specialist CCTV equipment, Shaun has been training to step up to survey processing and reporting. He has completed qualification in OS19X - Pipe Sewer Condition Classification. This confirms his professional credentials with the ability to recognise and code structural conditions, service conditions, construction features and miscellaneous details from photographs and video. Shaun will now be responsible for classifying pipe and sewer conditions as part of the comprehensive reports which Jet Aire supply to each client.

Jet Aire’s CCTV condition surveys carry out detailed inspections of drainage systems with accurate mapping. Our CCTV operatives use the cameras on site to record footage which enables a clear view of any defects, damage or degradation. This footage is supplied to Shaun at head office for analysis.

Operations Manager, Lee Whitear, said:

“Since joining Jet Aire, Shaun has certainly proved to be highly capable across a range of areas and he has built an impressive skillset. Shaun’s OS19X is the latest stage in his ongoing professional development and I have no doubt that he will do an outstanding job in this key role.”
